August 06, 2020 Chethana formed a Samaritans Volunteer Training Task force in collaboration with the clergy and the MCYM youth of Mavelikara Diocese. The total members in this task force are 60 from which 40 participated in the training programme conducted in Chethana.the rest of members attended through the social platform. ASI Haris, Inspector of Kayamkulam Police Station, inaugurated the programme by handing over a PPE kit to Fr. Varghese Mukalumpurathu, Director of MCYM, Mavelikara. Ms. Bini Jinu, a nurse narrated her work experience during the COVID pandemic. Ms. Shilda and Ms. Geena, nurses working in Kayamkulam Govt Hospital, demonstrated with the help of volunteers how to wear (donning) and remove (doffing) PPE kit. Mr. Roshin Sam Programme Manager gave the vote of thanks.
