The Chethana premises consists of classes, computer labs, offices etc. As a result, the monthly electricity bill turned out to be very high. A need to shift to Solar Energy was considered important. The Diocese of Rottenburg, Germany, funded this 30KWp Solar Grid on March 2022. This definitely turned out to be a prestigious project, as it reduced the electricity bill to such a great extent. The money which we would have spent for the electricity charges have now been diverted to other programmes.
