“Infoam Veer Kisan Bhumi Putra Award 2024
The Veer Kisan Bhumi Putra Award 2024, honoring the sons of the soil – the brave farmers, was held at the Kanjirappally Puramattam Auditorium. A total of 188 farmers, all aged above 80, were honored, and the award was presented to them. The program, organized by the Malanadu Social Service Society, was inaugurated by Archbishop Mar Raphael Thattil of the Syro-Malabar Church.
The event also saw speeches from:
- Mar Reneejios Inchananiyakkal, Chairman of the Thamarassery Diocese
- Mar Joseph Pulickal, Chairman of the Kanjirappally Diocese
- Father Thomas Mattamundal, National Chairman of Infoam
Under the leadership of Chetana, the social welfare department of the Mavelikkara Diocese, farmers who had registered with Infoam were presented with membership cards and honored.
Representing Chetana, Director Fr. Francis Plavarakunnel, Assistant Director Fr. Philip Jammathukal, and staff members from the Kattanam, Chengannur, and Mavelikkara regions participated in the program. A total of 50 representatives from these regions attended the event.
