Distribution of Sewing Machines
Under the leadership of Kayamkulam Chetana, Mavelikkara Region, the distribution of 50 sewing machines was inaugurated at the St. Joseph Malankara Catholic Church in Pallipad. The event was presided over by Most Rev. Joshua Mar Ignatius, the Bishop of the Mavelikkara Diocese.
The ceremony was attended by:
- Fr. Francis Plavarakunnel, Director of Chetana
- Fr. Robert Palavila, Diocesan Procurator and Parish Vicar
- Fr. Philip Jammathukal, Assistant Director of Chetana
- Ranjini R, President of Pallipad Gram Panchayat
- Animator Jose Chakkolil
- Chetana staff members, and unit members from Pallipad, Muttom, Vazuthanam, and Chengannur.
The program saw the distribution of sewing machines to 50 selected women, empowering them with new opportunities for livelihood.
