Medicinal plants have always been considered a healthy source of life for all people. Therapeutical properties of medical plants are very useful in healing various diseases and the advantage of these medicinal plants is being 100% natural. Nowadays people are being bombarded with thousand of unhealthy products, the level of sensibility infront of diseases is very high and that’s why the use of medicinal plants can represent the best solution.The only solution for the tackling the issue is to promote the medicinal plant cultivation among the marginal women farmers.
Goal
To reduce health hazards in the community through herbal plant promotion and to open an IGP for the beneficiaries.
Objectives
- Enhance the awareness level of the Community based Organizations to in promoting the need of medicinal plants
- Promote sustainable environment through the promotion of herbal plants
- Promote cultivation and planting of herbal plants in the households of the SHG members.
- Promote IGP through production of value added products and promotion of medicinal plants
- Promote linkage and collaboration with various development agencies working in the field environmental protection.
