KCBC FLOOD REHABILITATION PROJECT 2019-2020 Chethana was awarded the Kerala Catholic Bishop’s Council (KCBC) Flood Rehabilitation Project 2019-2020. In connection, 17 Goats were distributed to the beneficiaries from Cheriyanad, Kollakadavu, Chennitala, Panayil, Ramapuram, Cheppad. Also donations were provided for shelter construction in Chengannur and Poozhikadu.

Release of Chethana Calendar November 14, 2019: His Grace Dr. Joshua Mar Ignathios, the Bishop of the Mavelikara Diocese and the President of Chethana and Msgr. Jose Venmallottu, the Vicar General, released the Chethana Calender 2020. These The proceeds received from the calender distribution will go towards the St. Peter’s Fund for Cancer patients.
DDUGKY Batch 19 Tharang Programme November 27, 2019: Students belonging to Chethana DDUGKY Project conducted the Tharang Programme. Tharang is a cultural programme showcasing the talents of the students. In the one hour that was alloted to the batch 19 students, they put up songs, quiz and group dance after a short meeting.
Ashakiranam (Hair donation) November 26,2019: One of our young donor Ms. Druga who is 5 years old and studying in Govt LP School, Kayamkulam donated her hair towards the Ashakiranam programme for cancer patients. Also, Ms. Dolly Stephen donated her hair for this cause. This is the second time she has donated.
Chethana Ambulance November 25, 2019: Chethana Ambulance just returned after a long and tedious trip to Orissa covering 4,232 km in 88 hours. Our Ambulance Officer, Mr. Robin Varghese undertook this trip and returned today.
